When promoting a brand as luxurious and well-known as Mercedes-Benz, you have to have the facilities to do it justice. And the G Brothers Mercedes-Benz Dealership premises is impressive. In purchasing an access door for their car showroom, the door needed to blend in with the smart, monochromatic facade of the building, whilst maintaining smooth functionality and easy operation. Opting for black reflective glass panels and black powder-coated frames, the door ties in perfectly with the black and silver colour-scheme, yet offers an eclectic modern touch to the overall aesthetic.
As the door is in frequent operation to allow cars entry and egress to the building, visibility and easy functionality is important. High clarity glass panels permit natural lighting to filter through, providing a light, open ambiance to the reception area and showroom behind. With 4mm safety glass, these doors provided a secure, lockable perimeter, safely housing the million dollar contents behind them.
This bespoke Enturi Sectional Door is ideally suited to Car Dealership showrooms, due to its compact and low maintenance design. The luxe door design folds up in a concertina action, up into the cavity above the door without taking up much space, or interfering with overhead lighting arrangements. Unlike standard overhead door systems which require a significant clearance space overhead for the door in the open position. The Mercedes group also installed the Enturi sectional door in their South Australian Van Centre where access to a range of vehicles sizes was required, with round the clock access.
