Designed and fabricated for ultra-wide openings, the Concertina Rapid Folding Door is built for size and strength.

Constructed from a fully self-supporting steel frame, including high strength support beams in the door head to span the widest of openings, the Concertina Rapid Folding Door utilises concealed straps inside the curtain to lift the door.

Lateral trusses between the inner and outer skin provide the ability to span massive openings without compromising the wind strength of the door.

The Concertina Rapid Folding Doors’ unique twin-skin provides additional benefits from our single skin fold up doors (Movifold for example) for the reason that the air-pocket between the skins provides an insulating barrier against temperature and noise through the opening. The twin-skin design also allows for the lifting straps to be fully concealed from the elements to provide long-lasting and reliable operation.

Operating Speeds of up to 1m/second can be achieved, subject to door size. With counterweights and internal lateral trusses, the Concertina Rapid Folding Door is able to span large openings, whilst providing prompt access and maintaining a high level of noise and dust control.

Maintenance of the Concertina Rapid Folding Door

From a maintenance perspective, the Engineers at Remax designed the Concertina Rapid Folding Door to allow for each curtain segment to be removable and replaceable in the event of accidental damage. Fitted with floor loop detectors and radar sensors, each door is programmed to detect oncoming traffic, minimizing downtime in openings and ultimately reducing pest entry into the facility.

Features:

  • Unique concertina folding design
  • Twin-skin curtain for added insulation
  • Internal lateral trusses
  • 1m/second high speed operation
  • Concealed lifting straps concealed inside the curtain
  • Curtain segments are removable and replaceable.

Adelaide Produce Market: Movidor Concertina Folding Doors were installed at Adelaide Produce Market to achieve fast traffic flow while preventing unwanted pests, dust and other outside elements from entering the facility. With hundreds of trucks and forklifts flowing through the markets everyday, it was imperative that the markets found a reliable, low maintenance door solution.
